DESCRIPTION:Join us this Sunday as we continue our sermon series "Genesis -
PROMISES".\nNow the Lord said to Abram\, “Go from your country and your
kindred and your father's house to the land that I will show you. And I w
ill make of you a great nation\, and I will bless you and make your name g
reat\, so that you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you\,
and him who dishonors you I will curse\, and in you all the families of th
e earth shall be blessed.” (Genesis 12:1-3)\nAfter dispersing humanity\,
Genesis turns to the central story of the Bible: God pursuing the creatio
n that rejected him. This great rescue begins with the calling of a man fr
om Ur to whom are given the promises that will change the world forever. J
oin us on Sunday mornings\, beginning in August and continuing through Dec
ember\, as we unpack the story of Abram/Abraham (Genesis 12-25) and discov
er how his journey sets the wheels in motion that will culminate in the co
ming of Jesus. \nToday\, we will be studying Genesis 20:1-18 and 21:22-34
\, titled "Abraham and Abimelech".\nEveryone is welcome as we fellowship\,
worship and open the scriptures to learn together!
