Balmoral has a special program each Sunday morning at 10:30 am, for children age 2 1/2 through grade 5. We call our program "Promiseland", and it runs from September through to June. 

We would like to introduce you to the 2011/2012 Promiseland Childrens Ministry year at Balmoral Bible Chapel. There are some important changes in the program you need to be aware of. Most importantly is that this year the start time is different. Parents, teachers and children will be in the first portion of our main church service that starts at 10.30am and will be going to their classes from there at approximately 11.am for one hour. If you used to drop your children off and not go to the church service we would encourage you to consider attending. However we are also willing to accommodate your preferences. Please talk with the teacher of your childs class. 

There will be individual classes for:

• Children ages 2 ½ to 3
• Children ages 4 to 5 + grade 1.
• There will be a junior church format for grades 2-5.

Promiseland is a ministry of Balmoral Bible Chapel and exists to bring children into a relationship with Jesus Christ that will develop and last a lifetime. (Linking People to Jesus). The desire of the teachers is to partner with you the parent in this process and we hope that you will use the resources sent home with the children to accomplish these goals. We also want to create a safe community by developing loving, caring relationships between students and teachers.

• To do this we will use curriculum that teaches the Bible with its life principles and then helps them apply these principles to their lives.
• Promiseland is committed to ministry that is safe for the child, relevant, creative and fun.
• Promiseland is run by volunteers who function as a team within the framework of Balmoral.
•  Availabilty of these classes is dependant upon having sufficient teacher and helper volunteers.

For children younger than age 2 we have a very special room supplied with all the stuff babies and toddlers need. Our Nursery is partly for the kids, and partly for Mom and Dad, to allow them to enjoy the service each Sunday. Drop around, have a look, and talk to our nursery staff.
